Party pages

Everyone in the group gets their own copy of the magazine, with a page for each person in every copy and two pages about the weekend itself. Nobody goes home with the same souvenir twice.

A group photo on a phone gets looked at once. This is the other thing: a real magazine, thirty-six pages of it, that reads as the genuine article all the way through, and then turns into the story of your group. Every person in the party appears in every copy, so each of them goes home holding all of you.

It is for the weekend that deserves marking. Stag and hen parties, a birthday somebody is dreading, a reunion, a last trip before a move, a crowd who rented a house together for a week. If there is a reason you are all in one place, there is a reason for this.

What is in it

  1. A copy each. Not one copy passed round. One for every person in the group, posted together to whoever organised it.
  2. A page for every person, in every copy. Each member sends their own photo and answers. Every page appears in all the copies, so each person has the whole group in their hands.
  3. Two pages about the group. The occasion, the city, the running joke, the photograph that already exists in the chat. Written up the way the magazine writes up anything else.

Two looks

Pop is loud: strong colour, big type, the party on the page. Understated is quiet: a proper magazine profile spread, the kind of thing somebody keeps on a shelf rather than in a drawer. One organiser picks the look for the whole group, and an accent colour with it.

What it costs

Two people, €250. Three, €325. From four to twelve it is €99 a head: €594 for six, €990 for ten, €1,188 for twelve. Shipping is on top and is quoted on the invoice before anything prints.

More than twelve is its own conversation; write to us and we will work it out. One person on their own is not a party, so that is the custom copy at €126.

How it works

  1. One person in the group gets in touch with the number of people, the occasion, the look and the accent colour, and lists everyone with their email. You also name one person we can come to if somebody goes quiet.
  2. We email every person on your list their own page form, a two-page PDF they fill in on screen. They send it back from their own email address with one photograph attached, and that is how we know the page is theirs. Nobody has to chase anybody through a group chat on your behalf.
  3. We write the pages, lay them out, and send the organiser a proof of the whole magazine.
  4. When the organiser says yes, we invoice. Payment by IBAN transfer or Zelle. Nothing prints until it is paid and nothing prints until the proof is approved.
  5. The copies are printed and posted together.

Allow time. This is written and laid out by hand, one group at a time, so the earlier you ask the safer the date. Want to see what we ask each person first? Here is the page form.

If you run the weekend

Stag and hen operators, tour guides, holiday apartment and event-week hosts, planners: there are partner terms for people who bring groups to us regularly. Write and ask.

You can also put your own advert in the group’s copies, so the magazine they keep carries your name in it. The rate drops at six people and up. Ask for the rate card.

Shops take party orders at the counter on the same split as the custom copy, forty to the shop, forty to the artist, twenty to Tinge World. That is on the for shops page.

House rules for photographs

Everyone pictured is over 18 and sends their own photo with their own consent; one person cannot submit another person’s face. No shop fronts, logos, menus or prices. No nudity. Own photographs only, with the right to give them to us. Every word is checked before print; we edit for length and take out shop names and prices. Cities are fine to name. Real shops, clubs and coffeeshops never appear.

Photographs and words are kept for 90 days after shipping, in case a copy is lost in the post, then deleted. The whole of it is in the privacy policy.
