Sometimes the buddy is a person. More often it’s the trusty pipe that has never once let you down.
The bong with the chip in the base that you would never replace. The biscuit tin on the top shelf that the kids have never thought to look in. The corner of the sofa where the light comes in just right at four o’clock.
Every quarter POLYC prints four of them. Send a photo of your smoke buddy or your comfy spot, your first name, your town, and one line on why it’s the one. No faces needed.
The rules
Your own photo, taken by you. Nobody in it under 18, and preferably nobody in it at all; it’s about the buddy. No shop fronts, logos, menus or prices. Photos we don’t use are deleted after twelve months; photos we print are used for that issue and this site, credited with your first name and town.
